**Job Overview**
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Ophthalmic Imaging Specialist to join our team at University Hospitals Bristol NHS Foundation Trust. As an Ophthalmic Imaging Specialist, you will play a vital role in supporting the Ophthalmic Imaging and Outpatient Department with data entry, eyesight testing, OCT scans, and other imaging tasks.
The ideal candidate will have previous experience of ophthalmic care and hold at least one A-level in a science subject. They will also possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a strong customer focus. In addition, they will be able to work alone and as part of a team, dealing with difficult situations with ease.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Preparation of patients for investigations and imaging tests
- Undertaking visual acuity testing, measuring intraocular pressure, and performing basic imaging tests
- Providing reports and baseline evaluations
**Working Conditions:**
This is a full-time or part-time position, with 37.5 hours per week. The salary for this role is estimated to be between £26,530 and £29,114 per annum, pro rata.
