University Hospitals Bristol NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a highly skilled Medical Imaging Specialist to support the Accident and Emergency Department at the Bristol Eye Hospital. As an expert in ophthalmic imaging, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our team.

Main Responsibilities
  • Performing visual acuity tests, checking ocular pressure, and conducting Optical Coherence Tomography (OCT) and Humphrey Visual Field (HVF) testing
  • Providing general personal care and support to patients
  • Receiving full training to perform all required diagnostic checks

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in ophthalmic care or relevant qualifications, such as GCSEs or A-Levels in science subjects. Additionally, they should possess excellent communication skills, a professional attitude, and the ability to work methodically and reliably.

We offer a competitive salary of £24,071 - £25,674 per annum, pro rata, along with the opportunity to develop your skills and expertise in a dynamic and supportive environment.
