Volunteer Services Project Manager

C2 Charity Recruitment - Non-Profit Recruitment Specialists is seeking a skilled Volunteer Services Project Manager to join their team. As a key member of the organization, you will be responsible for project managing the design and improvement of a comprehensive hospice volunteering service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a team to proactively develop the recruitment and retention of hospice volunteers to support the delivery of the volunteer strategy.
  • Develop a strategic attraction and onboarding approach, including an annual advertising calendar and promotion of Hospice volunteering at promotional events.
  • Implement plans that place Equality, Diversity and Inclusion at the heart of volunteering, making changes and recommendations to departments and helping managers to embrace an inclusive approach actively attracting people from diverse backgrounds.
  • Create and update policies, procedures, and guidelines as required, with reference to the volunteer workforce.
  • Support the Volunteer team, including postgraduate qualification or equivalent level of experience in Volunteer Management, HR Management, or OD, and evidence of continuing professional development in project management.
