Job Title: Residential Children's Services Manager

We are seeking an experienced Ofsted Registered Manager to lead our two Residential Children's services in Romford, both rated 'Good' by Ofsted in recent inspections.

About the Role

As a Residential Children's Services Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management of our two homes, catering for 6 children in total. You will benefit from a full staffing team, including a Deputy Manager in each service, and support from an experienced RI & Operations Manager.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage the Residential Children's services to ensure high-quality care and support for children
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure compliance with Ofsted regulations
  • Manage staff performance, training, and development to ensure a skilled and motivated team
  • Collaborate with the RI & Operations Manager to ensure effective service delivery and continuous improvement
Requirements
  • Registered Manager experience (Ofsted)
  • NVQ Level 5 Leadership & Management in Residential Childcare
  • Knowledge and experience in residential childcare operations
  • Understanding of safeguarding and child protection procedures
  • Experience working with children and young people with complex needs
