Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Kitchen Lead to join our team at German Doner Kebab in Cambridge, Cambridgeshire.

About the Role

This is a senior position that requires someone with strong leadership skills and experience in managing kitchen operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that food safety and quality standards are maintained, while also driving sales growth through excellent customer service and efficient operational practices.

The role involves overseeing the day-to-day activities of the kitchen team, including training and development, performance management, and implementing company policies and procedures. We are looking for someone who can work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple projects simultaneously.

Responsibilities
  • Maintain high levels of food quality and presentation
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
  • Train and develop kitchen staff to achieve their full potential
  • Implement brand standards and drive sales growth
  • Manage inventory and control costs
  • Lead by example, demonstrating a commitment to customer satisfaction and excellence in everything you do
Requirements
  • Minimum 2 years' experience in a similar role
  • Proven track record of delivering exceptional results in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills
  • Able to work flexibly, including weekends and bank holidays
  • Degree or equivalent qualification in Hospitality, Management, or a related field
