Children's Residential Support Worker

We are seeking a dedicated Residential Support Worker to join our team at Esland, where you will play a vital role in providing exceptional care and support to children in our residential homes. As a member of our team, you will contribute to creating a safe, nurturing environment that promotes the emotional and physical well-being of our young people.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and maintain strong relationships with children, their families, and external agencies to ensure comprehensive support.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to create and implement individualized care plans, promoting positive outcomes.
- Contribute to maintaining a clean and organized home environment, encouraging young people to participate in household tasks.
- Ensure accurate and timely record-keeping, receiving guidance and support from supervisors as needed.
- Maintain high standards of professionalism, adhering to Esland's policies and Ofsted expectations.
- Support the educational and social development of each young person, helping to implement Individual Education Programs.
- Meet the emotional and physical needs of our young people, fostering opportunities for growth and development.
- Level 3 Diploma in Children and Young People or equivalent (desirable) or willingness to undertake this qualification.
- Experience in a children's home setting (desirable).
- Passion for nurturing young people and making a positive impact.
- Flexibility to work 24-48 hour shift patterns, including sleep-ins, with a rota provided in advance.
- Full, UK driving license (essential).
- Age 21 or above, meeting industry regulations.
- A competitive salary of £30,672-£31,294.8 per year, based on qualifications.
- Enrolment in the fully funded Level 3/4/5 Children and Young People's Workforce qualification.
