Childrens Residential Support Worker: Delivering Exceptional Care

Esland Care is a leading provider of specialist services for children and young people. We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Residential Support Worker to join our team based in Ravensden.
Salary: £30,672 - £31,294.8 per year, depending on qualifications (based on a pay rate of £12.00 - £12.30 per hour and undertaking 8 sleeps per month on average)
About the Role:
We are looking for a professional and nurturing individual who can provide high levels of care and support to our young residents. As a Residential Support Worker, you will play a vital role in creating a safe and welcoming environment that allows our children to thrive and reach their full potential.
Key Responsibilities:
- To provide personal care and support to young people, including assisting with daily living tasks and promoting independence
- To work as part of a team to deliver therapeutic and EBD/complex trauma support services
- To maintain accurate records and contribute to the development of individual care plans
- To participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance skills and knowledge
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- A Level 3 Diploma in Children and Young People's Workforce or equivalent qualification (highly desirable) or a willingness to undergo this qualification once employed
- Experience in a children's home setting (highly desirable)
- Flexibility to work 24-48 hour shift patterns, including sleep-in shifts
- Full UK driving licence (essential)
