An established manufacturing business in Hove seeks an experienced Accounts and Invoicing Clerk. The role will assist the Accounting Manager with various tasks, including invoicing, sales ledger management, credit control, export documentation, and shipping logistics.

Main Duties:
  1. Collaboration with the Financial Controller on daily accounting activities is key
  2. This team member processes sales ledger invoices accurately
  3. Export sales documentation management and administrative tasks are part of this role
  4. Preparing monthly VAT schedules and quarterly returns is a critical responsibility
  5. The role involves responding to customer inquiries and providing support
  6. Liaising between production and shipping departments ensures smooth operations
  7. Generating statistical reports as needed is essential
Essential Requirements:
  • Proficiency in sales ledger management is essential for success
  • Experience with export/shipping documentation is highly beneficial
  • Skills in Sage and Microsoft Excel are necessary
