About the Role

We are looking for a Commodity Invoicing Analyst to join our Settlement Operations team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the creation and dispatch of trading invoices, as well as the receipt, validation and processing of invoices for both vanilla and complex products.

The ideal candidate will have strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think and act independently. They will be numerate and highly organised, with an excellent attention to detail and strong communication skills.

This is a unique opportunity to work in a high volume, automated, process driven environment where speed and accuracy are imperative.

Responsibilities:

  1. Create and dispatch trading invoices for both vanilla and complex products
  2. Receive, validate and process invoices for both vanilla and complex products
  3. Settle physical OTC trades, swaps and options, and renewable certificate transactions
  4. Process netting statements for physical and financial settlements
  5. Ensure funds are received and paid on time
  6. Ensure accurate input into the cash liquidity process for Group Treasury
  7. Manage the resolution of operational issues and queries from internal / external parties
  8. Support management in the day-to-day monitoring of workflows, queues and tasks
  9. Assist in the training and development of other team members
  10. Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, to drive efficiency and improved performance (e.g., system enhancements and automation).

Requirements:

  • Knowledge of settlement activities, the trade life cycle and trading systems
  • Proactive in identifying and driving improvements in processes, systems and controls
  • Numerate and highly organised with an excellent attention to detail
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think and act independently
  • Ability to communicate effectively, stay calm and work well under pressure to meet competing deadlines in an environment where speed & accuracy are essential.
