Medlock Partners Limited is seeking an exceptional HR and Learning & Development Manager to join their team. This is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role in the continued growth and success of the wider HR team and to continue personal growth within a generalist HR role.
Key Responsibilities:- L&D:
- Review and evaluate current L&D processes and make recommendations.
- Develop and implement L&D strategy in collaboration with the People Director.
- Design and deliver training programs, including Leadership & Management training.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to create and support individual learning, succession, and talent plans.
- Identify and implement innovative methods for delivering training, learning, and development.
- Manage apprenticeship programs and maintain the Apprentice Levy account.
- HR:
- Work closely with the People Director to lead the HR team and implement the People Strategy.
- Build strong relationships with key stakeholders across the business.
- Provide support and advice on legal and best practice requirements.
- Oversee the development of HR policies and procedures.
- Be an ambassador for the People Strategy and drive change management.
- Experience in L&D or HR, ideally in construction, manufacturing, or engineering sectors.
- Proven management experience, mentoring, and supporting similar teams.
- Ability to travel to different sites and maintain visibility across the business.
- Strong analytical skills and ability to gather data and insights.
- Capability to deliver training sessions in-person and virtually.
- Proven ability to work with a range of stakeholders across a diverse business.
- Highly organized and CIPD qualification (preferred).
