Job Description

Medlock Partners Limited is seeking an exceptional HR and Learning & Development Manager to join their team. This is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role in the continued growth and success of the wider HR team and to continue personal growth within a generalist HR role.

Key Responsibilities:
  • L&D:
    • Review and evaluate current L&D processes and make recommendations.
    • Develop and implement L&D strategy in collaboration with the People Director.
    • Design and deliver training programs, including Leadership & Management training.
    • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to create and support individual learning, succession, and talent plans.
    • Identify and implement innovative methods for delivering training, learning, and development.
    • Manage apprenticeship programs and maintain the Apprentice Levy account.
  • HR:
    • Work closely with the People Director to lead the HR team and implement the People Strategy.
    • Build strong relationships with key stakeholders across the business.
    • Provide support and advice on legal and best practice requirements.
    • Oversee the development of HR policies and procedures.
    • Be an ambassador for the People Strategy and drive change management.
Requirements:
  • Experience in L&D or HR, ideally in construction, manufacturing, or engineering sectors.
  • Proven management experience, mentoring, and supporting similar teams.
  • Ability to travel to different sites and maintain visibility across the business.
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to gather data and insights.
  • Capability to deliver training sessions in-person and virtually.
  • Proven ability to work with a range of stakeholders across a diverse business.
  • Highly organized and CIPD qualification (preferred).
