Job Description

We are seeking an Advanced Practitioner - Inpatient Occupational Therapy to join our team at Princess Alexandra Hospital NHS Trust, based in Harlow, Essex. As a member of our multidisciplinary team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality occupational therapy services to patients with diverse presentations and complex physical and psychological conditions.

This is a full-time position, and we are offering an estimated salary of £47,459 per annum. We are open to considering job shares and flexible working requests.

Main Responsibilities

You will have a major role in the advanced occupational therapy assessment and treatment of patients within the speciality who may have acute, complex, and/or chronic presentations. Your key responsibilities will include:
  1. Providing expert guidance and support to junior staff members.
  2. Developing and implementing individualized treatment plans aimed at reducing the impact of disability and ill health.
  3. Leading on the evaluation of the occupational therapy service provided to inpatients on many wards.
