Paediatric Nurse

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Paediatric Nurse to join our team at Royal Berkshire NHS Foundation Trust. As a Paediatric Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to patients of all ages and backgrounds, addressing both acute medical needs and long-term health management.
Key Responsibilities- Assess and monitor patient conditions, checking symptoms and vital signs and arranging diagnostic tests as needed.
- Work effectively as a team member, promoting team and interdisciplinary relationships to deliver exceptional patient care.
- Display excellent analytical ability and sound decision-making in changing clinical situations.
- Co-ordinate with the Paediatric Lead and work with patients' families and carers to discuss care and condition.
- Check and use specialised equipment such as monitors and ventilators.

Person Specification- A minimum of 6 months paid experience in a Paediatric environment within the last 3 years.
- Comply with NMC Professional Registration and keep up to date with current nursing practices.
- A Paediatric Nursing Degree.
