Job Summary

Hertford Regional College is seeking a highly motivated individual to coordinate and deliver our T-Level programme in Construction. As a Construction Lecturer, you will play a key role in shaping the future of our students and contributing to the success of our college.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and deliver the T-Level programme in Construction, ensuring high-quality learning experiences for students
  • Develop and maintain relationships with employers and industry partners to secure industry placements and enhance programme delivery
  • Work with the AOC and ETF to develop T-Level curriculum and delivery, ensuring alignment with industry needs and standards
  • Support the development of staff skills and knowledge in T-Level delivery, including upskilling in areas such as Science and Building Technology, Surveying and design for construction and the built environment, Civil Engineering, and Building services design
  • Contribute to the development of a vibrant and dynamic learning environment, promoting student engagement and success

Requirements

  • Experience in T-Level delivery or a related field, with a strong understanding of industry practices and standards
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with employers, staff, and students
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team, with a flexible and adaptable approach to meet the needs of the college and its stakeholders
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development, with a desire to stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices
