Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Older Adult Mental Health Specialist to join our team at North East London NHS Foundation Trust. As a Community Consultant Psychiatrist, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to older adults with mental health needs in Waltham Forest.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide senior medical support and guidance to the multidisciplinary team
  • Work directly with older adults and their families, and liaise with other external providers and acute hospitals
  • Participate in the on-call rota and provide support to peers and team leader
  • Commit to collaborative working and actively support and liaise with other health and social professionals
Requirements
  • Inclusion in, or eligibility for inclusion in the Specialist Register or within 6 months of obtaining CCST
  • Excellent understanding of current developments in mental health care
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
