As a Community Consultant Psychiatrist, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to older adults with mental health needs in Waltham Forest.
Key Responsibilities- Provide senior medical support and guidance to the multidisciplinary team
- Work directly with older adults and their families, and liaise with other external providers and acute hospitals
- Participate in the on-call rota and provide support to peers and team leader
- Commit to collaborative working and actively support and liaise with other health and social professionals
- Inclusion in, or eligibility for inclusion in the Specialist Register or within 6 months of obtaining CCST
- Excellent understanding of current developments in mental health care
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Opportunity to influence future direction, treatment, and models of design in the area
- Collaborative working environment with a multidisciplinary team
