Senior Mental Health Specialist in Older Adult Care

This is a senior medical role within the Older Adults Community Mental Health Team - Central, providing care to older adult people with mental health needs across Havering.
The successful candidate will be expected to work as part of multidisciplinary teams, providing senior medical support and guidance to the team.
Key responsibilities include working directly with older adults and their families, liaising with external providers and acute hospitals, participating in the on-call rota, and supporting colleagues and the team leader.
To succeed in this position, applicants must demonstrate a strong understanding of current developments in mental health care, be innovative and motivated, and possess excellent communication skills.
The ideal candidate will have full GMC registration with a licence to practice, CCT or equivalent, Section 12 Approval or eligibility for it, Approved Clinician status, or eligibility for it, and inclusion in or eligibility for inclusion in the Specialist Register or within 6 months of obtaining CCST.
