Job Title: Senior Business Analyst

We are seeking an experienced Senior Business Analyst to join our Securities Services team. As a key member of our team, you will play a pivotal role in driving business change and delivering strategic initiatives.

Job Summary:

The Senior Business Analyst will work closely with operations and technology subject matter experts to map complex business processes and translate requirements into detailed process flows. You will collaborate with implementation teams, technology teams, and subject matter experts to establish the technical vision and analyze trade-offs between usability and performance needs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Elicit requirements using interviews, process analysis, requirements workshops, surveys, business process descriptions, use cases, scenarios, business analysis, task, and workflow analysis.
  • Critically evaluate information gathered from multiple sources, reconcile conflicts, decompose high-level information into details, abstract up from low-level information to a general understanding, and distinguish user requests from the underlying true needs.
  • Proactively communicate and collaborate with external and internal customers to analyze information needs and functional business requirements and deliver artefacts as needed in line with project templates and methodologies.
  • Work independently and with users to define requirements under the direction of a project manager and/or senior business analysts.
  • Develop requirements specifications according to standard templates and standards.
Requirements:
  • At least 5 years' experience in a BA/PM role.
  • Preferred SSv or MSS experience.
  • Required Project lifecycle and management experience.
  • Preferred detailed analysis experience in complex financial services.
  • Required experience in complex analysis and solution mapping, as-is process analysis & working with technology partners.
  • Required experience working with JIRA, Agile development sprints.
