Job Summary


We are seeking a skilled Registered Hearing Aid Dispenser or Audiologist to join our team. This is a Monday to Friday role (or part time will be a minimum of 3 days a week) with no weekends required. You will visit patients in their own homes, test those with hearing difficulties, establish whether they can be aided by amplified sound, deliver, fit and adjust aids, and conduct aftercare home visits.



Key Responsibilities


You must have a sympathetic approach and empathy as some patients will be elderly and frail, and some may suffer from dementia. As a confident driver, you will enjoy being out on the road visiting patients. In addition, you will:



  • Test patients with hearing difficulties
  • Establish whether they can be aided by amplified sound
  • Deliver, fit, and adjust aids
  • Conduct aftercare home visits


Requirements


The successful candidate must be registered with the Health and Care Professions Council. A fully expensed company car, fuel card, and a company pension are also provided.
