Restaurant Operations Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Restaurant Operations Manager to join our team at German Doner Kebab. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our restaurant, maintaining high standards of quality, and driving sales growth.
Key Responsibilities:- Action and implement business performance plans set by the Restaurant Manager
- Monitor and control restaurant sales levels and profitability
- Develop and execute marketing strategies, including promotional events and discount schemes
- Prepare and submit reports on staff control, food control, wastage, and sales
- Create and execute plans for departmental sales, profit, and staff development
- Order and requisition food and other supplies to ensure efficient operation
- Coordinate stock deliveries and maintain accurate records
- Inspect supplies, equipment, and work areas to ensure conformance to established standards
- Provide staff training and ongoing support to ensure high standards of quality and customer service
- Ensure staff are well-groomed and smart ready for work
- Maintain high standards of quality control, hygiene, sanitation, health, and safety
- Meet and greet customers, investigate and resolve customer queries and complaints
- Identify opportunities for additional revenue growth
- Knowledge of ingredients and cooking methods to provide excellent customer service
- Prepare duty rosters and maintain cleanliness and hygiene procedures
- Assist other staff as needed and ensure wastage is minimized
- Ability to work in a team, motivate others, and provide excellent customer service
- Hold a basic Food Hygiene Certificate
- Conduct daily staff briefings and ensure staff are punctual and available for each shift
- Monitor and record temperature of freezers and chillers
- Arrange store maintenance as needed
