About the Role

We are recruiting for a Science Technician to work in a school environment in the Preston area. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in science and previous experience in a laboratory setting.

Responsibilities
  • Maintain and repair laboratory equipment as needed
  • Set up experiments and demonstrations for teaching purposes
  • Provide technical support to pupils and students during practical lessons
  • Assist in ordering resources and materials as required
Requirements
  • A minimum of 1 year's experience in a laboratory setting
  • Strong understanding of scientific principles and practices
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and vulnerable adults
