About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled Behavioural Support Assistant to join our team at a specialist SEMH provision in Bentley. As a Behavioural Support Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting learners with complex behavioural needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support learners on a one-to-one basis, providing individualised support to meet their needs
- Work collaboratively with other support staff to engage pupils in class and promote positive behaviour
- Provide feedback to teachers and parents on learner progress and behaviour
Requirements:
- Experience working with learners with complex behavioural needs
- Good behaviour management skills and the ability to de-escalate challenging situations
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
- Resilient attitude and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
