About the Role

We are looking for a highly experienced midwife to fill the position of Quality Governance Specialist. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading improvements in quality standards across the maternity services, monitoring and supporting risk issues, and promoting and encouraging risk and safety awareness across the area.

The ideal candidate will have extensive and recent clinical experience at a senior level within the NHS, demonstrable experience in managing risk, and evidence of planning and implementing service change. They will also have a clear understanding of the national and local healthcare agenda, good knowledge of CNST/CQC maternity and general standards, and negotiating and influencing skills.

The salary for this position is £59,490-£66,239 per annum, including HCAS. We offer a permanent contract, and the job location is Queen Mary Maternity Unit, West Middlesex University Hospital.
