About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Audit & Accounts Partner to join our team in Coventry. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for leading a team of accountants and ensuring the highest level of customer service is provided across the board.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead a team of accountants and provide guidance and support to ensure the delivery of high-quality audit and accounts services.
  • Manage a portfolio of corporate and personal clients across audit and accounts, providing expert advice and guidance to ensure their financial needs are met.
  • Oversee the delivery of accounts, reviewing the work of and mentoring the audit and accounts team to ensure they are working efficiently and effectively.
  • Manage audit and accounts projects, working closely with other senior team members to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Manage budgets and reporting, providing financial insights and recommendations to support business growth.
  • Provide coaching, training, and development for colleagues and team members to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to succeed.
  • Represent the company at networking and business events, identifying new business opportunities and building relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Develop trusted client relationships, representing the firm to the highest standard and identifying opportunities to introduce and cross-sell company services.
Requirements
  • FCCA, ACA/ACCA, or CA qualification.
  • RI status is desirable.
  • Demonstrable leadership experience of working in an accountancy practice.
  • The ability to provide first-class support for a vast and rapidly growing client portfolio, including overseas clients.
  • Technically proficient with a strong working knowledge across accountancy.
  • An appetite for business growth and ready to spearhead development.
  • Be involved with strategic and marketing processes in line with growth plans.
  • The foresight and confidence to provide proactive advice to clients and discuss opportunities with Partners.
  • A strong leader and team player that encourages and motivates others.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to produce work in a timely manner.
  • A strategic, creative, and analytical thinker.
  • A strong relationship builder with the ability to develop new business opportunities.
  • Ambitious and career-oriented.
