Job Summary:

We are seeking a reliable and patient individual to join our team as a SEN Midday Meal Supervisor. As a key member of our support staff, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safety and well-being of our pupils during the school lunchtime period.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise pupils during lunchtime, maintaining a calm and authoritative approach to manage their behavior.
  • Monitor students inside the lunch hall and outside on the playground as required, ensuring their safety and adherence to school rules.
  • Collaborate with the school's management team to develop and implement strategies for supporting pupils with special educational needs.
  • Contribute to a positive and inclusive school environment, promoting social skills and emotional well-being among pupils.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience working with children, preferably in a SEN or mainstream school setting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with pupils, staff, and parents.
  • A calm and patient demeanor, with a strong sense of responsibility and accountability.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a flexible approach to meeting the needs of the school and its pupils.
