Key Responsibilities

As a Midday Student Supervisor, your primary duties will include:

  • Overseeing student behavior in designated areas to ensure safety and order.
  • Making daily decisions regarding student activity areas.
  • Facilitating the safe use of dining and recreational equipment.
  • Providing support and supervision in the dining area as needed.
  • Assisting students who may require additional help.
  • Addressing minor incidents and administering first aid when necessary, escalating serious matters to the appropriate personnel.
  • Maintaining cleanliness and order in dining and play areas to promote a safe environment.
Qualifications

We are interested in candidates who possess:

  • A solid understanding of the educational and social needs of students during lunch breaks.
  • A recognition of the meal period as a vital social and educational experience.
  • Experience in supervising students in a relevant educational setting.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
  • The ability to motivate and inspire young individuals.
  • Excellent organizational capabilities.
  • The capacity to collaborate effectively with individuals at various levels.
  • The discernment to identify when to seek assistance for student needs.
  • The professionalism to engage with parents and guardians while maintaining confidentiality.
