Job Opportunity

PM Group is seeking a highly skilled Process Engineer to support a chemical site in the UK.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Accelerate the development of a brownfield project to achieve a +/-30% capital cost estimate.
  2. Prepare comprehensive engineering documentation, including BFDs, PFDs, P&IDs, and modifications to existing systems.
  3. Develop equipment lists, datasheets, and design calculations for new and existing equipment.
  4. Conduct feasibility studies and present proposals to senior management.
  5. Develop risk assessments and ensure timely completion of all necessary safety studies.
  6. Oversee the Installation & Commissioning phases.

Required Qualifications

  1. Proven experience as a process engineer in bulk chemicals.
  2. Knowledge of industry-standard practices, procedures, and safety measures, including GMP and process safety practices.
  3. Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate with technical engineers and project stakeholders.
  4. A degree in chemical engineering or a relevant discipline.
  5. Experience with process modeling software, particularly Aspen Plus, is advantageous.
