Lead Programmer Position

We are seeking a highly skilled Lead Programmer to lead our software development team in the UK.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the development of software applications.
  • Work closely with colleagues to design and implement new features.
  • Ensure software quality through thorough testing and debugging.
  • Coordinate the entire software development process.
  • Write efficient, readable, and well-maintained code.
  • Stay informed of industry trends and emerging technologies.
  • Provide technical guidance and support when needed.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or relevant field.
  • At least 2 years of experience in software development, preferably in a leadership role.
  • Proficiency in one or more programming languages (e.g., Python, Java, C#).
  • Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git, SVN).
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Knowledge of Agile development methodologies is beneficial.
