Job Opportunity: Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer

Kandhu Ltd is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join our team in the FMCG industry. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for delivering proactive and reactive maintenance services to ensure the smooth operation of our production facilities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on production equipment and plant machinery
  • Conduct regular checks and testing to ensure equipment is operating within specification
  • Implement continuous improvement activities to drive efficiency and reduce downtime
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety, quality, and environmental procedures
  • Collaborate with the engineering team to achieve corporate strategies and departmental targets
Requirements:
  • Extensive experience in the FMCG industry, preferably in a maintenance or engineering role
  • Strong mechanical and electrical qualifications, including City & Guilds or NVQ L3 equivalent
  • Experience with processing and packaging machinery, as well as troubleshooting and resolving PLC & Robotic issues
  • Knowledge of COSHH and 17th edition IEE Wiring Regulations
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
