MAF UK is excited to announce the 2024 intake of our sponsored aircraft engineering training scheme. This unique opportunity is designed for aspiring aircraft maintenance engineers to join MAF and make a meaningful impact overseas.

What You'll Gain:

  • Acquire theoretical knowledge and practical experience for an EASA B1 or B2 license.
  • Serve with MAF in diverse programs across Africa and the Asia-Pacific region.
  • Develop partnerships by raising prayer, pastoral, and financial support.

Requirements:

  • A-levels including Physics and Mathematics (grade B or above).
  • 5 GCSEs including English and Mathematics (grade C or above).
  • Leadership experience in Church, school, or another sphere.

Key Skills:

  • Clear, assertive, and diplomatic communication skills.
  • Ability to manage deadlines and priorities.
  • Good attention to detail and adherence to rules and instructions.

Personal Qualities:

  • Committed evangelical Christian, aligned with our Statement of Faith.
  • Emotional resourcefulness and flexibility towards others and circumstances.
  • Service-oriented, resilient, and possess an enquiring mind.

Selection Process:

The selection process will commence in August. The process will include interviews, technical evaluations, and the completion of medical and psychological assessments.

Application Process:

Applicants must be resident in the UK or Ireland and have the support of their local home Church in order to apply.
