We are currently recruiting for a number of skilled Vehicle Technicians to join our Exeter Autocentres. This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a dynamic team in one of our flagship centres, which boasts the latest facilities and technology.

Job Summary

This role involves servicing and repairing vehicles, including routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, brake pad replacements, and timing belt services. Our ideal candidate will have experience in diagnosing and repairing complex issues with vehicle engines, transmissions, and electrical systems.

About the Role

This is a full-time position that requires the ability to work independently and as part of a team. As a Lead Vehicle Technician, you will be responsible for ensuring all vehicles are repaired to the highest standards and completed within agreed timescales. You will also be required to maintain accurate records of work carried out and participate in ongoing training and development to improve your skills.

Requirements
  • Must have NVQ Levels 2 and 3 in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair or equivalent qualification
  • Experience in servicing and repair work, including clutches, timing belt replacements, head gasket, and brakes
  • Ability to carry out diagnostic work on brakes, steering/suspension, engine
