Heavy Vehicle Technician Specialist

Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled HGV Technician to join our team at the Institute of the Motor Industry. limited, based in Dartford. As an HGV Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing commercial vehicles to ensure they are safe and roadworthy.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintaining and repairing commercial vehicles to a high standard
- Carrying out diagnostic tests to identify faults and issues
- Conducting routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes and tyre checks
- Working independently under pressure to meet deadlines
- Collaborating with other technicians to resolve complex issues
Requirements:
- NVQ / City and Guilds – Level 3 qualification in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance and Repair
- Minimum of 5 years working on commercial vehicles
- Experience in a fast-paced and demanding customer environment
- Ability to work independently under pressure
- Class 1 licence (not essential)
