About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Psychologist to join our team at Berkshire Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust. As a Clinical Psychologist, you will play a vital role in providing specialist psychological assessments, care planning, and evidence-based interventions to children and adolescents with complex mental health difficulties.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments to identify the needs of children and adolescents
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans to address the mental health needs of patients
  • Provide evidence-based psychological interventions, including individual and group therapy
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care and support
  • Participate in clinical supervision and peer review to maintain high standards of practice
Requirements
  • HCPC registration as a Psychologist with a doctorate in Counselling or Clinical Psychology
  • Previous experience working in a mental health service, preferably with children and adolescents
  • Leadership and management experience, with the ability to lead and manage teams
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and colleagues
