Lead Swimming Teacher

At GLL, we're seeking an experienced and passionate Lead Swimming Teacher to join our team at South Reading. As a key member of our swimming team, you'll play a vital role in developing the skills of both our customers and your team of teachers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver safe and consistent swimming lessons that empower individuals to build confidence in the water.
  • Support and guide your team of teachers to ensure a cohesive and effective approach to teaching.
  • Maintain a positive and welcoming image of the Centre, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a safe and controlled environment for all swimmers.
  • Lead and motivate your team to achieve their full potential, providing developmental feedback and guidance.
  • Coordinate and manage swimming teacher schedules, registers, and ratios to ensure efficient and effective lesson delivery.
  • Monitor pupil progression and update records to support swimmers in achieving their goals.
  • Assist with new-enrolments, re-enrolments, and promoting further courses and short courses to our customers.
