About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and proactive Engagement Specialist to join our team at Hertfordshire Care Providers Association (HCPA). As an Engagement Specialist, you will play a crucial role in engaging with Social Care Providers to promote the services offered by The Care Professional Academy.

Key Responsibilities
  • Engage with individual care providers to understand their needs and promote the benefits of using The Care Professional Academy's free service.
  • Maintain contact with providers in contract with Local Authorities and follow up with resources and information to nurture providers through the sign-up process.
  • Work closely with care providers already signed up to the Academy to ensure they are maximizing use, develop an Engagement Plan, and identify additional support needed.
  • Ensure the Academy's CRM is up-to-date, communications are logged, and research options to obtain contact details for care providers.
  • Lead on obtaining case studies and feedback from care providers and care professionals to feedback to stakeholders, use for marketing, and for consideration for improvements.
  • Work closely with the customer support team to ensure a smooth sign-up process.
  • Understand the Academy model fully to answer any queries from customers, including providers and care professionals.
  • Work in line with individual and team KPIs, maintain statistics, and analyze and make recommendations based on statistics.
  • Work closely with the Academy Manager and team to grow the Academy rewards offer.
Requirements
  • 12 months experience working in a proactive engagement role or Health/Social Care experience.
  • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office packages, including Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Project.
  • Self-motivated, with excellent ability to work on own initiative, independently, and as part of a team.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, enthusiastic, committed, proactive, and resourceful.
  • Excellent customer care skills and able to prioritize workload.
  • Ability to successfully multitask, displaying excellent time management, meet deadlines, and KPIs.
  • Ability to work under pressure without compromising the quality of work.
  • Excellent standards of written documentation with good attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Own transport with insurance for business use is essential for this role, as travel around Hertfordshire may be required.
  • Flexible working arrangements will be required based on the needs of the Academy.
What We Offer
  • 37.5 hours a week, Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm, based out of our Welwyn Garden City office with some home working.
