Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled Building Fabric Technician to join our client's team on a 6-month contract, with the potential for extension or lead to permanent employment. As a Building Fabric Technician, you will be responsible for the maintenance and upkeep of our client's site, including domestic water checks, emergency lighting checks, fire alarm checks, safe and legal checks, office furniture and fixture repairs, minor plumbing and electrical repairs, and machine coolant checks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine maintenance tasks to ensure the site is safe and operational
  • Conduct domestic water checks and flushing, emergency lighting checks, fire alarm checks, and safe and legal checks
  • Repair and maintain office furniture and fixtures, as well as perform minor plumbing and electrical repairs
  • Check and maintain machine coolant systems
  • Work collaboratively with the site team to ensure the smooth operation of the site

Requirements:

  • Experience in facilities maintenance and building fabric
  • Available for an immediate start
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills
