Role and Responsibilities:
  • Assist in the educational and social development of students under the direction and guidance of the SENCO and class teachers.
  • Support students with their learning activities in the classroom, helping them to understand instructions and stay focused on their tasks.
  • Provide one-on-one support for students with specific needs, encouraging and promoting the inclusion of all students within the classroom.
  • Prepare learning materials under the supervision of the teacher, helping to manage classroom behavior and creating a positive learning environment.
Requirements:
  • A minimum of 1 year of experience working with children with SEN.
  • A Level 2 or 3 qualification in Teaching and Learning or equivalent.
