About the Role

Mencap is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Female Support Worker to join our team in Broughton, Flintshire. As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in the lives of individuals with learning disabilities, providing emotional support and assisting with daily activities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide person-centered support to individuals with learning disabilities, promoting their independence and well-being.
  • Assist with daily activities, such as personal care, meal preparation, and household chores.
  • Develop and maintain meaningful relationships with service users, their families, and other stakeholders.
  • Work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to ensure high-quality care and support.
  • Participate in training and development opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge.

Requirements

  • A genuine passion for supporting others and making a positive impact on people's lives.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • A valid, full UK driving licence (essential for the role).
