Mencap is on the lookout for empathetic and dedicated individuals to join our remarkable team as Support Workers in a part-time capacity of 30 hours per week.

In this role, you will have the chance to significantly impact the lives of individuals with learning disabilities. Your responsibilities will include working with a diverse clientele, each possessing unique strengths and requirements. From aiding with everyday tasks to offering emotional encouragement, your contribution will be essential to their well-being.

Key Qualifications:

  • A sincere enthusiasm for helping others;
  • Strong communication abilities and the skill to foster meaningful connections;
  • Willingness to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays;
  • A positive and understanding demeanor towards individuals with learning disabilities.

A valid UK driving licence is required for this position.

Employment Options:

  • Part-time: 30 hours - flexible scheduling based on your availability.

Shift Information:

Most of our services operate 24/7. We prepare the schedules at least four weeks in advance, allowing you to manage your personal and social commitments.

Sleep-in shifts are also available, offering an enhanced flat rate payment.
