Job Description

This part-time faculty position involves teaching day and/or evening classes in the Mechanical and Materials Engineering Department at WPI. The ideal candidate will hold an advanced degree in mechanical engineering or a related discipline and have significant practical experience in the relevant area. Previous teaching experience at the college level is necessary.

Responsibilities and Expectations

  • Teaching courses from established curriculum with inclusion of personal expertise and experience
  • Providing students with timely feedback and grading
  • Reviewing the WPI course catalog to identify potential teaching opportunities

Qualifications and Requirements

  • Master's degree in mechanical engineering or a related field required
