Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Security Operations Manager to oversee the safety and security of students, staff, and visitors across all campuses within our college group. This role involves developing and implementing effective security protocols, leading the security team, and collaborating with law enforcement and emergency services as needed.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement comprehensive security policies and procedures to ensure a safe learning environment
  • Lead and manage the security team to provide proactive and effective security solutions
  • Collaborate with law enforcement and emergency services to respond to incidents and emergencies
  • Oversight of risk assessments, monitoring of security systems, and ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • Excellent security management experience, ideally within an educational institution or similar environment
  • Proficiency in using security systems such as CCTV, alarms, and access control technologies
  • Degree in Security Management or a related field, with evidence of sound financial management of both revenue and capital budgets with a large organisation
  • Ability to produce and analyse data, make recommendations, and communicate effectively at multiple levels within and outside the Group
Salary and Benefits

This role comes with a competitive salary of £48,331 per annum, plus up to 50 days annual leave and 8 additional bank holiday days.
