Job Title: Deputy Manager - Children's Home

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Deputy Manager to join our team at Acorn Park, a specialist school for pupils with Autism and related disabilities or difficulties.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and motivate a team of staff to provide high-quality care and education to pupils with Autism and related disabilities.
  • Develop and implement effective training programs to enhance staff skills and knowledge.
  • Collaborate with the management team to ensure the smooth operation of the home and the delivery of excellent care and education services.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant legislation, such as the Children's Act and Quality Care Standards.

Requirements:

  • Level 3 Diploma - Children and Young People's Workforce or equivalent.
  • Full UK Driving Licence.
  • Experience of working in a residential setting.
  • Working knowledge of relevant legislation.
  • Experience of leading and motivating teams.
