**Job Description:** Aerospace Systems Manager

Our client, a prominent player in the Defence and Security sector, is seeking an experienced Aerospace Systems Manager to lead their Configuration and Data Management team. This is a contract position in the aerospace industry, with a focus on delivering high-quality results within a hybrid work environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and implement effective Change Management processes across projects
  2. Support the Release and Deployment Management of hardware and documents
  3. Design and manage a new configuration management system
  4. Plan and estimate Configuration Management work to ensure timely delivery
  5. Promote process improvement initiatives within the team
  6. Provide training and mentorship to team members
  7. BUILD STRONG RELATIONSHIPS WITH PROJECT TEAMS, CUSTOMERS, AND PEERS

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in providing configuration management on aerospace projects
  • Proven ability to work with modifications to aerospace products
  • Strong understanding of data management principles
  • Familiarity with Defence Hardware projects is highly desirable
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
