Clinical Director

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Director to join our team at Hazelwood House, a 12-bedded low secure unit for adults with a primary diagnosis of Learning disability and secondary mental health issues. As a Clinical Director, you will be responsible for leading a multidisciplinary team of professionals from nursing, clinical psychology, and occupational therapy.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead a multidisciplinary team of professionals to provide high-quality care to patients
- Review treatment plans and coordinate discharge
- Liaise with Commissioners regarding admission, progress updates, and discharge planning
- Participate in a multidisciplinary approach to assessment, formulation, and management plans
- Good team player with excellent communication skills
- Ability to work autonomously to agreed short and medium-term objectives
- Understanding of the impact of actions on patient care and the workings of the multidisciplinary team
- Good problem-solving skills with the ability to translate best practice and evidence-based research into practical operational solutions

Priory operates a non-residential medical on-call rota, and the post holder is expected to participate on a second-on-call basis. As part of our wider infection control efforts, we continue to record vaccination status for all colleagues. Your vaccination status will not affect any offer of employment and will be held in line with GDPR requirements. All roles will be subject to a successful disclosure at an appropriate level from the Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS), Access NI, or Disclosure Scotland. Priory will cover the cost of a DBS check.
