Job Title: Business Development Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Business Development Manager to join our team at OVO Energy. As a key member of our Commercial Development team, you will be responsible for developing new commercial relationships and identifying new partners to support the delivery of our ECO and GBIS obligations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement effective strategies for the delivery of OVO's ECO and GBIS obligations
  • Identify and develop new commercial partnerships to support the delivery of our obligations
  • Lead negotiations with external organisations to secure multi-million-pound agreements
  • Work closely with the Commercial Contract Management team to ensure delivery is in line with set contracting strategy
  • Provide key 'on the ground' knowledge of the industry for ECO and GBIS strategy and partnership development
Requirements:
  • Experience working within the industry for the Energy Company Obligation (ECO), Great British Insulation Scheme or other residential energy efficiency schemes
  • Expert knowledge of the concepts and principles of supply chain management within an operational business
  • Strong commercial contract negotiating capability
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
What We Offer:
  • A competitive salary of £42,000 - £55,000, depending on experience
  • An on-target bonus of 15%
