Our client, FFR Limited, a dynamic and forward-thinking business in the ecommerce sector, is seeking a seasoned professional to fill the role of Head of Finance.
This position will involve working closely with the CEO and founders of the company, overseeing month-end duties, financial planning and analysis (FP&A), and implementing and improving financial controls. As a key member of the team, you will contribute to guiding the strategic direction of the business, identifying areas for improvement, and enhancing profitability.
About the Role
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the finance function for a successful SME, working collaboratively with the CEO and being supported by an accounts junior.
- Implementation of financial controls and shaping the finance function to drive business growth.
- Management of the year-end and audit process, ensuring compliance and accuracy.
- Leadership and development of a small finance team, fostering a culture of excellence and collaboration.
- Financial analysis across the business, identifying opportunities to increase profitability and improve operational efficiencies.
- Assistance in various projects, requiring a hands-on approach, adaptability, and a strong finance background.
- A strong finance background, either chartered or qualified by experience, is essential for this role.
- A willingness to integrate into the company culture and contribute to a collective team effort.
- We are open to candidates who will take on this role as a growth opportunity or experienced financial controllers/head of finance looking for a new challenge.
