**Job Summary:** Early Years Development Officer

Rochdale Council is seeking an experienced Early Years Development Officer to join our team. In this role, you will work closely with schools, families, and providers to develop and implement effective early years programmes.

You will assess current provision, identify gaps, and develop strategies to meet the needs of local children and families. You will also provide support to providers with business planning, funding applications, and quality assurance.

**What You'll Do:

  • Assess and map current childcare provision to identify gaps and opportunities
  • Support providers with business planning, funding applications, and quality assurance
  • Collaborate with schools, partners, and teams across the council to expand childcare services

**Salary:** £27,500 - £29,500 per annum
