As a Financial Services Officer with us, you will play a vital role in maximising income collection while ensuring excellent customer service standards are met. Your primary focus will be on providing a joined-up, customer-focused income service to all tenants, supporting tenant sustainment, and maximising income collection.

About the Role

  • You will work closely with our Customer and Communities Team to deliver an exceptional customer experience, meeting performance indicators and service standards.
  • Excellent customer focus and experience of providing a customer-facing service to customers in arrears recovery or similar roles are essential.
  • Negotiation and advisory skills to assist tenants to seek resolutions to their financial difficulties are crucial.
  • Performance-focussed, you will comply with company targets and deadlines.
  • Microsft Office skills, with the ability to produce documents to a professional and accurate standard, are required.
  • Ability to make effective decisions and deal with challenging situations effectively is necessary.
  • Working knowledge of housing and welfare benefits, legal proceedings relating to arrears recovery and all relevant housing legislation is expected.
  • Numerical skills are required.
  • A commitment to the values and mission of Rochdale Boroughwide Housing, with a passion for promoting social inclusion and sustainable communities, is necessary.

Salary Information

The estimated annual salary for this role is approximately £28,000-£32,000 depending on experience and qualifications.
