Key Responsibilities:

  1. Oversee the personal tax compliance team and allocate client responsibilities in a structured and efficient manner
  2. Manage a client portfolio and provide a high-quality service to clients, ensuring that statutory deadlines are met
  3. Organise the annual tax compliance function to provide an efficient and organised service
  4. Review tax returns, self-employed & rental accounts and communicate with clients
  5. Provide advice on tax planning
  6. Ensure compliance with the firm's published policies and procedures
  7. Ensure good recoveries and prompt invoicing of work in progress

Requirements:

  1. Minimum of 5 years post-qualification experience gained within practice
  2. Extensive experience of personal tax compliance along with some advisory experience
  3. Ability to manage a team and be confident in dealing with clients
  4. Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  5. Good general IT skills
  6. Self-motivated, energetic and able to work independently
  7. Happy to undertake ad hoc work to assist in the smooth running of the practice generally
