Personal Tax Senior Role

We are seeking an experienced Personal Tax Senior to join our team as a key hire within our growing and highly regarded professional services firm. As a Personal Tax Senior, you will play a pivotal role in delivering a quality compliance service, while also leading the delivery of wide-ranging tax planning and project work.

Based in Maidenhead, this is a highly regarded and successful accountancy, tax, and advisory firm of chartered accountants with a strong reputation acting for wide-ranging individuals, directors, and private clients, both UK-based and overseas.

You will manage your own portfolio of interesting personal tax clients, with a varied mix of directors of sole traders, partnerships, and limited company OMBs and SMEs, HNWIs, as well as overseas, resident, non-resident, and domicile clients.

Responsibilities
  • Manage a portfolio of personal tax clients, providing compliance and advisory services.
  • Lead the delivery of tax planning and project work, including share options, trusts, CGT, IHT, residence and domicile advisory work, and non-dom planning.
  • Work closely with an experienced tax team to provide expert advice to clients.
Requirements
  • CTA and/or ATT/ACA/ACCA qualified with a strong background in personal tax.
  • 5+ years of experience in personal tax compliance and planning, ideally within an accountancy practice or specialist tax firm.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work closely with clients and the tax team.
Benefits
  • A highly competitive salary of £38,000 - £45,000 dependent on experience and background.
