Job Opportunity in Emergency Medicine

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Consultant in Emergency Medicine to join our team at University Hospital Wishaw. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the development of our Emergency Department.

About the Role

This is a full-time post on a 10 PA basis, with opportunities for flexible working arrangements. You will work closely with our team of 13 Consultant Emergency Physicians to provide patient-centred care that is safe, clinically effective, and sustainable.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality patient care in the Emergency Department
  • Contribute to the development of our Emergency Department and the wider hospital
  • Work collaboratively with our multidisciplinary team to achieve excellent patient outcomes
  • Participate in the training and development of our team members
  • Contribute to the development of our department's policies and procedures
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

Higher specialist training leading to CCT or eligibility for specialist registrationExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to work collaboratively as part of a teamStrong clinical skills and knowledge of emergency medicineWhat We Offer
