Furniture Testing Professional

Our client, a leading centre of excellence for furniture testing, is seeking a part-time Test Technician to join their international team. This role is ideal for individuals who are passionate about ensuring the quality and safety of furniture products.

The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing and testing furniture samples against national, European, and international standards. They will also assist with physical testing of mattresses, cabinets, tables, and seating.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone who wants to work in a dynamic environment and contribute to the development of new products.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Preparation and testing of furniture samples
  • Assisting with physical testing of furniture
  • Maintaining laboratory cleanliness and assisting with moving furniture samples
About You:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

Essential Skills:
  • GCSE Maths, English & Science minimum Grade C (Grade 5 or above)
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Good computer skills – Word & Excel
  • Able to work to deadlines and have a good attention to detail

We offer a competitive salary of up to £24,000 pro rata, plus benefits including annual leave, life assurance, and a group personal pension plan.
